My name is Luci, but my very favorite people call me "Mimi" and I am proud to call Virginia my home.
I have been blessed with a beautiful family consisting of two wonderful daughters and three amazing boys. As if that wasn't enough, I am also a grandmother to five lovely grandchildren, with another little one on the way.
I have been happily married for 25 years to my hard working and supportive husband, and together we have built a life filled with love, laughter, and hard work on our cattle farm. Living on a farm has taught me the value of hard work, perseverance, and the importance of family. Raising five children, managing a farm, and balancing the needs of our extended family presented significant challenges.
At one point, both my mother and my husband's mother moved in with us, and finding a balance between caring for them, tending to the needs of our children, and maintaining a strong relationship with my husband was no easy task. It required a great deal of patience, understanding, and a commitment to finding harmony in our family life.
Throughout the journey of motherhood and grandmotherhood, faith in God has been my guiding light. I am grateful for the many blessings we have received from Him, from the gift of family to the abundance of love and support that surrounds us. My faith has provided me with strength, hope, and a sense of purpose, and it has been woven into the fabric of our family life.
Being a mother and grandmother has been the greatest joy of my life. I have always strived to provide a nurturing and loving environment for my children and grandchildren, and I am grateful for the close-knit family we have become.
In the midst of all the responsibilities, I have also learned the importance of making time for myself and my husband, nurturing our relationship and finding moments of peace and rejuvenation. The values of hard work, dedication, the importance of family, faith in God, and the necessity of self-care have been at the core of everything I do.
I am grateful for the life we have built and the love that surrounds me every day. I am in no way wanting to come across as an expert, God knows I have made my fair share of mistakes, my hope is to share what I have learned and for you to share what you have learned so together we can be the best we can be for our children and grandchildren as well as our family unit as a whole.
May the light of God illuminate your path in all that you do.
