Are You Proud to be a Christian?

Writer's picture: Mimi LuciMimi Luci

👋 Hey there, friends!

🙏 If I were to ask, "Are you proud of the Gospel of Christ? Are you proud of being a Christian?" I'm sure most of you would confidently answer that you are not ashamed. But let's take a moment to reflect and reconsider our answer.

🌍 We live in a world that is becoming increasingly intolerant and discriminatory towards Christians. Society pushes the idea that love means agreeing with everyone about everything, at any time. Going against this narrative is often labeled as "hateful" and "wrong," and it can even have personal, professional, and legal consequences.

💔 But here's the truth: God warned us that as Christians, we will face hatred (John 15:18) and persecution (Matthew 5:14). However, we must trust in God's plan (Matthew 6:33) and be bold (Joshua 1:9). We should never deny Christ to gain popularity with others (Matthew 10:33).

❓ So I ask you, my dear friends, "Are you proud of the Gospel of Christ?" Have you ever denied Christ? Have you compromised your faith to appear "politically correct" or "woke"? Have you rejected the truth in order to fit in with society? Let me urge you to take this warning seriously - Jesus is coming. We may not know when, but He is coming (Matthew 24:36; 1 Thessalonians 5). Let's not be foolish or procrastinate. Let's seek a right relationship with God, even if it means being "wrong" in the eyes of the world.

🙌 Brothers and Sisters, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your life, especially your priorities. Are you living a life that is obedient, pleasing, and honoring to God? You don't have to answer me or anyone else, but for the sake of your salvation, you NEED to answer. Pray to God, ask Him for guidance and revelation. If necessary, confess your sins and turn away from them. "Go now and leave your life of sin" (John 8:11). Seek righteousness and make things right with God without delay.

🙏 I'm thinking of you all and keeping you in my prayers. May God bless each and every one of you. Remember, you can stay connected and be part of our community by signing up at www.lunreallife.com to receive updates and be part of a supportive community. Let's grow together! <3 -L
