Meet Luci

Hello, I'm Luci, a children's book writer with a strong Christian background. Writing books that inspire and educate young readers about their faith is my true passion. The spark for my stories came from my oldest granddaughter, Adalynd Lu, whose curiosity and love reignited my passion for spreading the word of God.
My Story
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Luci Toler, a children's Christian book writer. I was born in the bustling city of Baltimore, Maryland. However, at a young age, I was whisked away to the peaceful countryside of the Appalachian Mountains, where I spent my formative years on a horse and cattle farm surrounded by nature's awe-inspiring beauty. It was in this tranquil setting that my faith in God began to take root and grow.

From a young age, I had a deep connection with God and considered myself a Christian. But as life's demands took hold and I grew older, I many times lost sight of Him.
In 1999, I met my loving husband, and together, we have been blessed with three boys and two girls. Our journey has taken us to various places, including West Virginia, Maryland, Georgia, North Carolina, Colorado and finally settling in Virginia fifteen years ago where we have horses and registered Angus cattle and, of course, our cattle dogs Wyatt and Tessa.

It was the arrival of our first granddaughter, Adalynd Lu, that sparked a reawakening within me. The overwhelming love and grace of our dear Lord and Savior flooded my heart, and I felt like a child once more - full of wonder and awe.
This newfound connection with God inspired me to write.

Every night, as I drift off to sleep, my mind dances with new stories and ideas. And every morning, I wake with a sense of purpose, eager to jot down the tales that flow from my very soul. It is as though this is the moment that God has chosen for me to fulfill His purpose through my writing.

My stories are infused with adventure, faith, and the timeless values that I hold dear. It is my hope that these words will captivate the minds of young readers, renew the faith of parents, and instill these same values in their children. Through my stories, I seek to testify to God's boundless love and the transformative power of faith.
